Puppy School & Older Pup

Puppy School is for puppies 20 Weeks and Younger at the start of class.

Puppy School Older Pup is for puppies 6 months old or younger at the start of class

Both courses follow the same curriculum, but are managed to accommodate the needs for these different groups of puppies

Group classes for up to 6 puppies and their owners. 

​Our specially developed training allows us to deliver in a classroom environment or over live interactive video link to allow full demonstration and personal coaching.  ​The course will cover the principles of reward based training, showing how all behaviour can be shaped through positive outcomes for your dog. We will provide guidance for basic behaviours such as:

• ​Come When Called, Sit, Down, Stand, Walk on a Loose Lead, Stay and Gentle.

• Puppies will learn how to greet humans appropriately, be handled in more formal ways for checks, drying, grooming and other day to day activities.​

• The course also covers lots of aspects around dog behaviour and allows time for specific questions and concerns to be addressed at the end of each class.

The course is designed to offer you a foundation for building a lifetime bond and relationship with your dog through consistent and fun use of rewards.

Attending The Course

​​Puppy School Courses start at the time and location shown on the individual booking and last for 1 hour.

​Classes are carried out either face to face in a classroom environment or via a live video link (you will require a PC and Webcam or other device that supports video calls in order to take part in online classes). The booking shows which type of class are available, however face to face classes may be run online depending on government guidance and or specific class circumstances.

​If you wish to join one of our classes, simply click on the ''Book Now'' button adjacent to the class you would like to attend.

Places are strictly limited and fill up quickly.  

​We will confirm your attendance by return email.  

Within 48 hours you will receive an email from ‘noreply@puppyschool.co.uk’ with a link to make your payment – it is important that you add this email address to your email system to prevent the email being sent to your SPAM folder (or check your SPAM folder).

​Once you have paid, the system will issue you with a professionally printed ‘Puppy School’ manual (you should receive this within 2 weeks of payment being made), which will provide all the details regarding preparation and attendance of the classes, plus your Natures Menu vouchers (this will be sent via courier and packages cannot be reissued if delivery is declined).

​On your course start date make sure you are familiar with the location and leave plenty of time for travel and comfort breaks for your puppy.

If the class is online, then follow the joining instructions (and ensure you have setup your device so that you and your puppy can be clearly seen and that you have a quite and suitable space to train in).

Fees

The fee is shown against each booking and is subject to an additional £2 booking fee.
